Stevie Wonder - Stay Gold

First heard this in the movie The Outsiders, and it has the same effect on me each and every time i hear it - it resembles the youth that has now gone and how i should cherish what i had and be happy i actually had a proper childhood as some dont. It's something i'd like played at my funderal. Makes me cry!! lol

Carpenters - Yesterday Once More

Totally reminds me of being young, my Mum and her Dad would always listen to this song - it's a song you cannot help but sing to when it comes on the radio - a nice happy feeling whenever i hear it.

OMD - If you leave

Another that transports me back to a fun time in my life - from the movie Pretty In Pink - me and my best friend entered a competition on our local radio station to win tickets to see the movie at the cinema - we won and it was also my first time at the cinema with just my friends!! One of those songs that the words dont mean as much as the tune itself.

Martha & The Vandellas - Heatwave

One of the only songs that makes me just wanna get up and dance - totally reminder of hot summer days - not a care!!

Mary J Blige - No More Drama and Sarah McLachlan- Good Enough

Both resemble and are to do with whats going on in my life at the moment.

I'm the sort of person that really listens to the lyrics of a song - they have to mean something to me - not very often do i have a fav song just coz i like the tune (OMD an exception).
