We have tidied the garden, grandad has been over to check on their new bikes, more planting, more sorting etc
Em showing off her new PROPER gardening gloves and yes they match her top - not on purpose lol We also bought a rain gauge, something I had and loved as a child, I think my Dad got ours from when he worked for Bayer Chemicals many many moons ago. I was obsessed with checking it!!
New plants are growing nicely, inc cucumbers, peas, bell peppers, peas, lavender, cherry tomato's in a hanging basket amongst a few!!
Em was busy planting Corn and more Peas (she sits for hours eating them straight outta the pod in the garden!).
Love days like this where we are all in the garden doing they also helped me pull out all the sycamore shoots - we so do not want another of those in this garden lol
Also done a little crafting and have had a visit from Juliette and two calls from Christian!! One to tell me he'd found these in a size 7 for me - we thought they started at size 9, yes they are dessert army boots but get this THEY ARE CONVERSE !!! Ideal for long walks!!
